About Us

Our Story

Dr. Jane Harrington started her journey as a scientist in high school with the focused vision to become a college professor.  Through her extensive bench research and classroom experience in 4 countries, she has been committed to constantly adapting to diverse learning styles to share her love of microbes.  Dr. Jane has mentored 65+ research students and taught 7K+ learners from K-12, undergrad, nursing and medical programs about microbiology and immunology.

The pandemic exposed the complex benefits and drawbacks of traditional Power-Point focused didactic lectures with a generation of students immersed in the digital world.  While, Dr. Jane & her life partner Ian Holyoak were quarantined at home in the Caribbean, they decided to combine their academic and creative talents to innovating a new completely new way of obtaining knowledge with emerging technologies of Artificial Intelligence & Extended Reality (summary term for Augmented AR, Virtual VR and Mixed MR Reality).

Through metaverse connections, Dr. Jane & Ian have recruited a dedicated, passionate team of creators and disruptors to bring their dream to fruition, with learning experiences ranging from the MedMicroMaps complementary e-book, social gathering space in Spatial.io and Unity gaming experience in Meta Quest headsets (launch Spring 2025).
